Galaxy Service Test Drive
You can test drive the service by following these simple steps:
- Go to this address: www.gmgalaxy.com/demo
- Depending on your browser, you will get a few options to choose from
- For Internet Explorer, we recommend using the "Microsoft ActiveX Control: Loose". If you click that option, your browser will ask you to install the ActiveX component. Allow the one-time installation (you will not be asked this question during subsequent logins)
- For Firefox, we recommend using "Netscape Plug-in: Loose." If you click that option, your browser prompts you to install the plug-in -- this is also a one-time installation.
- If you are using Firefox browser and it does not allow the installation:
- Right click this link: www.northernlightssoftware.com/ggw-nsplugin.windows.xpi
- Select "Save link as..".
- Save the ggw-nsplugin.windows.xpi -file to your desktop
- Drag and drop it onto your Firefox browser, at which point the browser will install the plug-in properly.
- Once the installation is successful, you will see our galaxy on your browser window!
- Wait until you are prompted for the "Main Service Login"
- If you have already received your main service login ID, enter it in the Main Service Login screen. If you have subscribed to the service and this is your first time logging in, click the "Request a new full service password" link. If you want to try the service out using our sample data, click the "request an evaluation"test drive" password" link. If you forgot your password, click the "I forgot my full service password" link.
- Once you have successfully logged into the service, the rest is easy: the program is exactly like the standalone version, except that it runs on our remote server.
Galaxy Service Pricing
Galaxy pricing is based on start-up fees and annual service fees per concurrent user (for example, a two-user system would allow two out of a potential user group of 10 people to be on the system at the same time).
Existing users (i.e., users who have previously purchased the standalone version of Grant Manager) pay a one-time $170.00 startup fee per user.
New users pay an additional one-tiome $1,000 installation and configuration fee per system, as well as a one-time $170.00 startup fee per user.
After the original fees, the annual service fee for the first user is $600.00 (or $50/month), while the service fee for each additional user is $400.00 (or about $33/month).
The following table shows the first and subsequent year costs for existing and new users with 1-4 user configurations:

Notes:
- The annual
service fee includes the application hosting service, program updates
and full technical support (toll-free phone and email.)
- For existing
users, we will also transfer and verify their current data from the
workstation or server to the hosting system, free of charge.
- If you
decide to discontinue with the hosting service in mid-contract, we will
refund the prorated annual fee for the remaining contract period, minus
a 20% administrative fee. For example, if you have six months left on
the annual contract for a single user system, you would receive a refund
of ($300.00 - $60.00) = $240.00.
- The applicable fees are due at the beginning of the annual contract (i.e., there are
no monthly payment options)
